It was later found out that the design sub-team assigned to the air delivery system was holding its design sessions at a local pub and were doing most of their work while only marginally in control of their senses. When the model shop delivered the prototype fan and ducting, it was discovered to be 6 feet high by 10 feet long and weighed approximately 22,500 pounds. An internal investigation revealed that a key design document for this subsytem had accidentally incorporated a technical drawing for a main thruster nozzle for the Saturn V rocket engines. All subsequent design documents were based on this mistake, and well, there you have it.

At this point, The Naked Whiz (that's me) stepped in. I sacked the entire air delivery system design team, discarded all work done to date, and started the entire project over from scratch. Having spent $570,000 up to this point, it was a painful decision, but it had to be done. Temporarily putting Process Boundary Analysis® aside, I locked myself in a cheap motel room for a weekend with a case of good scotch, a calculator, pencil, paper and the entire collection of Jackie Chan movies. I produced the following design which remains the basis for all subsequent models of the Whizzeroo-Q-Guru®...
